I’m back!

It has been AGES since i last blogged. I almost forgot that i had a blog but was recently thinking back about the days the puppies were younger, and how i used to use the blog to record their growth. They just turned 3 years old on July 12. I can’t believe I am still alive! I have survived their torture for 3 years! Amazing! Hahahaha! I really deserve a pat on the back! pat pat pat!

Went for my first trip since the dogs were born to Bangkok to watch the Impact Show. Its one of the larger shows in Thailand and was quite the eye opener. First time i saw puppies being sold at a show venue! Very strange! LOL. I also saw one aussie, which was a pleasant surprise. If i am not wrong,it was locally bred in thailand and based on australian lines.

After finishing Cassie’s championship, I have been showing very selectively and mainly focusing on the small ones (Boomer and Dagger). Dagger has been doing us proud by placing strongly in his group. At 12 months of age, he managed a reserve in group win, and a reserve yearling in show.. Not bad if i can say so myself! :)

Till next time!

Allergy Testing for Boomer

Recently, we noticed that Boomer was showing signs of skin irritation and it looked like the cause was some sort of allergy. Bichons are known to suffer from a lot of allergies and being the paranoid owners we are, we decided to send him for an allergy test to help us get to the bottom of things. We had been hearing positive things about  Passion 4 Pets, where they use Bioresonance Therapy to conduct allergy testing and so we made a call, took the first available appointment they had and off we went!

Waiting for our turn

Therapist explaining the process and showing us the different ampules they have available

Boomer wondering what's going on

Zzzz.....how long more is this going to take?

The entire process took about 90 min and was absolutely stress-free and pain-free.  We found out that Boomer is allergic to lamb and eggs amongst other things, so we will take care to avoid these items in future:) Even though i read online that there is only an 80% accuracy to the results, i think it is still not bad! At least we narrowed down the list of possibilities! Hahaha.

Its been forever since i last blogged. I guess there just have been too many things going on. Till next time! :)

Today marks a year

Today marks a year to Arson’s passing. Can’t believe time has just flown by so quickly. It seems like just yesterday when he was still besides me, and i still hold much regret when i think about him. I wish we could have spent more time together and grown old together but it was not to be. I wish that i could have done something to prevent his death from happening, but even now, know it is an almost impossible thing to do.

I still can’t really talk about him without tearing. Arson, i miss you. Life has never been the same without you. Your place in our hearts will never be replaced. You will always be the most special one to me.

After about an hour an a half of walking:

Panda

A Gal’s best friend

Nothing beats the feeling one gets knowing that your dog is always there for you.

Panda laying at my feet. He loves cozying up to us. It’s a little warm for Singapore weather since it feels like i have a hot water bottle with me all the time. Lol.
